The Essay
The essay gives you the opportunity to critically engage with the issues surrounding the communication of knowledge.The essay will be marked holistically with the presentation/artefact, and summative feedback provided, via Turnitin.
Your work will be graded according to UCL grading criteria. There is a 3000 word limit for the essay. Please note that this includes quotations and any footnotes, as well as words in any diagrams or illustrations, but not the bibliography.
You will have an opportunity to get feedback on a draft essay from one of the module team if you submit the draft by the approved date (see deadline tab in this section). It is important, when writing your essay to consider the grading criteria.
